Our Commitment to Sustainability
At Poke House, we're dedicated to more than just creating fresh, flavorful bowls—we're committed to sustainability in every step of our process. When you dine with us, you're not just enjoying a meal—you're supporting a movement toward a healthier planet.

Ocean-Friendly Seafood
Our seafood is either wild-caught or farm-raised and certified by trusted programs like the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch® or third-party eco-labels. Our salmon comes from the Faroe Islands or trusted vendors with Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) certification, ensuring responsible and ethical farming practices that meet global sustainability standards including ISO 14001, BAP, and MSC certifications.

Local & Certified Produce
Sustainability extends beyond seafood—we ensure our produce is USDA-certified and sourced from local vendors within 150 miles of our restaurants whenever possible. By partnering with local farmers, we support small businesses while significantly reducing carbon emissions from transportation, creating a positive impact on both our community and environment.

Eco-Friendly Packaging
We serve all our poke in 100% biodegradable bowls and utensils, demonstrating our commitment to reducing environmental impact with every meal. Our sustainable packaging choices ensure that your delicious poke experience leaves the smallest possible footprint on our planet.

REEF Environmental Education Foundation Partnership
We proudly partner with REEF, an international marine conservation organization founded in 1990 and based in Key Largo, Florida. REEF implements hands-on programs involving local communities in conservation-focused activities, protecting biodiversity and ocean life through citizen science, education, and scientific partnerships. Their work focuses on the Volunteer Fish Survey Project, Grouper Moon Project, Invasive Species Program, and Ocean Explorers Education Program.

Too Good To Go Food Waste Reduction
Through our partnership with Too Good To Go, Poke House contributes to collective efforts in reducing food waste and its environmental impact while offering customers access to quality food at great value. With approximately 40% of all food produced wasted annually, contributing to 10% of human-caused greenhouse gas emissions, reducing food waste is the number one action people can take to tackle climate change. Join our community by downloading the free Too Good To Go app and reserving your Surprise Bag from the nearest Poke House location.

Ocean Rescue Alliance International
We partner with Ocean Rescue Alliance International, a marine conservation and restoration nonprofit that implements innovative techniques to restore marine environments. They use artificial structures to build marine habitat, conduct restoration projects, protect coastlines, and connect communities through art. Together, we create ripples of change and contribute to a more sustainable future for our oceans.
